River's Autism Awareness Campaign
River Christie-White, who has Aspergers, is using his talents in dancing on the Pow-Wow Trail to raise awareness for Autism and all disorders that fall into the Autism spectrum.
His goals are to raise awareness and money for First Nations specific programming for Autism Ontario.
River has been chosen as the Head Junior Male Dancer for this year's Grassroots Powwow. He is an inspiration to other youth proving that one person CAN make a difference, youth DO have a voice and BIG things happen when you follow your heart and embrace who you are!

Everything Comes Full Circle
Every year the Grassroots Powwow Committee collects non perishable food items and toiletries at the Powwow. These items are given to local Aboriginal organizations that help Aboriginal youth in our community.
The Grassroots Powwow Committee would like to thank you all for your kindness.
